How do you define your "cross country"? Just going from Taiwan to USA direct without going through Philippines? Or by driving?

The first one could mean, you'll fly. The second clearly means driving, all via land.

First one yes, second no. You'll need a valid visa of course.

There's no easy way to just cross a country. You need a visa first before you can go.. Why won't you try to seek a legal advise from a lawyer or at the embassy.
