Sodium bisulfate dissolved in water is highly acidic. The chemical formula is: NaHSO4 (aq)

How would this react with 1. Magnesium 2. Magnesium carbonate and 3. Magensium oxide ?

I would be very grateful if someone could show chemical equations for possible reactions as well as ionic equations.

Many thanks...

2NaHSO4 + Mg ----> MgSO4 + Na2SO4 + H2

2NaHSO4 + MgCO3 ----> MgSO4 + Na2SO4 + CO2 + H2O

2NaHSO4 + MgO ----> MgSO4 + Na2SO4 + H2O

I'll do the first ionic equation for you:

2(HSO4)- + Mg ----> 2(SO4)2- + Mg2+ + H2

You can see the pattern now.
