sure, you sound great! i'm majoring in apparel design.
you should learn to draw, and make a sketchbook of your designs before sewing them. bring the book everywhere with you, so you can draw a design the minute you're inspired. next to the sketch, write the fabric it's made out of, and how much fabric you think you'll need, what kind of thread you'll use, etc.
choose the best designs from your book to actually make!
if you want to go to college to study fashion design, you'll need to prepare a portfolio of artwork later on in high school, because the best schools also want you to be great at art!
plus, even if you have great technical skills and can sew anything, you need to develop good style and taste. what matters is not how well you can sew, so much as if other people love your stuff. go visit the mall often, not to shop, but to look around at what the styles are and what people are currently buying.
here are some of my sewing tricks:
1) for extra quality - if you're about to attach one piece to another, do a small hem on each piece first, before sewing them together. it looks better than having cut edges sticking out on the inside of the garment.
2) if you're trying to put together a purse, use a good, but nonpermanent, fabric glue to make the seams before actually sewing them. this way, you can move them and change them to make them perfectly even before using the machine.
you may think not using a pattern is a good sign, but for a lot of things, you should use them (don't buy them, make your own with big rolls of paper). label your patterns (i.e. "white skirt, march 2007") and file them. this way, you can make more of the same garment exactly the same later on. also, your garments will be more even and your measurements will be more accurate.
use a mannequin or a bust form to see how your stuff looks.
you can try selling what you make, too! look for local art shows that accept work from people your age, or set up a stand outside your house. if you're good with the computer, you can even make yourself a catalog and pass it out to people at your school.
good luck!

That could be a good thing for you if that's what you are into! I would say take it to the next step with a sundress, since it's spring now! They are pretty simply put together.
Sorry...no advice or tips. I am doing good to sew some fabric to cover a hole in my favorite jeans...lol. I have, in the past made scrunccis and head wraps though...for the scruncci...just use the material you want and a piece of elastic. It's easy...You seem to be more advanced than that! Good Luck!

good for you , to have found something you love , so early in life....i believe the hardest thing to sew , would be gloves ..
