The top benefactors are Dick Cheney, KBR, Haliruton, Blackwell Security, Lockheed Martin....you get it, Plus the big 4 are just waiting for the i's to be dotted to be dotted and the t's crossed. So far they have 30 year drilling rights secured. These would be Exxon Mobile, Chevron, and the next 2 I guess as ever Cheney 's butt gets kissed. Right now their Middle East Headquarters is being built in the heart of Baghdad. Most living in area have know idea what it is, officially it is being called an Embassy. I downloaded a picture it is miles of cranes in the dessert. It will be larger than Vatican city or some small states. Staff 8,000. Oil H.Q. so far is costing $10Billion and you would think for all the blood and treasure America has and will sacrifice for this endeavor the oil Co.'s would be made to pay (which always come in on budget) no, tax money, to heck with veteran care, education, what ever you may think domestically money should be spent. I mean have all the FEMA victims following Katrina, are their lives and homes in order? Anyways H.Q. will be self contained for water, electricity, Police, maintenance and will be hardened to withstand a Nuclear Blast.
The finial Little detail now is in owner ship rights, this is the condition of troop withdrawal. Ya, while CNN was ripping into Gonzalo's. Benchmarks for withdrawal. are being fine tuned and put the Iraqi's in a horrific State of Lose/Lose situation. Revenue sharing, the Iraqui's must agree to share oil revenue profits amongst them Kurd, Sunni and Shia. However this means signing over(giving) their mass reserves of oil to the big 4. The big 4 will give them a pettience 6 or 8 % of profits to minister themselves.
With all of the extravegances of Saddam, Palaces and all. The oil was Nationalized (before sanctions) He used that money for infrastructure, electricity, schools, Universities, Hospitals ect. Oil is the only resouse these people have. So give away the oil and the occuppiers will leave, except security and contractors to finish building H.Q., or they will wait it out with more death and ruin day after day. Oil revenue can make a Nation of great healthy educated poeple. That is why almost all countries keep their oil as a national treasure all the people benifet. Excpt of course us in our wisdom would rather all the profit go to a few like Cheney,Bush, Rockrfella, etc. Thank god we are so wise to know the Evil of that. It sounds like Socialism. No better a few crooks get all the resourses of the land and get so wealthy as to be above the law, while the masses get poorer and poorer, slipping into illitercy and racism in a fight to the bottom. Ya, Capitalism....Mary

It is going into the pocket of rich US oilmen. The US tax dollars are being used to rebuild Iraq.

You have to ask the Iraqis. They explore, drill, pump, transport, refine and market their own oil. We are helping protect their fields and wells from terrorists...........
