Boston University is a highly respected school. It is routinely ranked in the top 100 among the 3,800 colleges in the USA. The College of General Studies is just an administrative unit within the university.

You need to do some serious research before you agree to go there, or to any other college. This is about the $200,000 it is going to cost you, and four of the most important years of your life. Get your butt down to the guidance office of the school and check out the details. And you better pay BU a visit.....

This college is a decent school--not great, but not horrible. It does help increase the revenue, though.

General Studies is a joke at all schools? Can you transfer to a different part of the school?
