"will" and "would" can each be used in different ways. But in the expressions you've provided:
WILL is a simple indicative form referring to something in the future. You are expecting him to come, no conditions attached.
WOULD has a conditional sense -- that is, it refers to an event that depends on something else happening, which may or may NOT happen ("I think he would come IF you were to invite him.") , but cannot happen unless the other event takes place.
Note that in either case you may be just as confident in the fellow's willingness (and perhaps even ability) to come. It's just in the second case there is something else that must happen.

The difference in the adverb alters the meaning of the two phrases.
Would come.... I think he would come if he was invited.
Will come..... I think he will come when he's done cutting the grass.

I think he would come means that he might come. The person who's saying that is not so sure, but he (the person saying it) believe that the possibility for him to come is greater than the possibility for him not to come.
I think he will come means you think that he definetely will come, not doubt at all.

Well... i don't exactly remember any grammatical term and I might be wrong...
anyway, when u use "would" then u r assuming some time ago, that he is coming
but when u use "will" then u r assuming at that exact moment that he is coming

Saying "WOULD" is sugesting that he would do a certain thing if the situation arises but saying "will" is persent tense sugesting that he is going to do something.
