How do you reset the drive belt switch on a Kawasaki brute force?

--Make sure the battery is fully charged and connected to the quad.
--Disconnect the wire coming from the belt cover (right side engine).
--In that same area as the connector, there are two connectors (a black & a gray)
--Disconnect them and plug the black into the gray, and the gray into the black.
--Turn on the key.
--I forget if you should wait 5 seconds, or until the light starts flashing, or goes off.
--Play around with it.
--Then turn off the key and plug everything in, back to normal.
--Whenever you disconnect the battery, the belt light will be activated again.
