i have blue-green eyes and i want to get like a light color. i'm gonna try a couple of different things on and if it looks stupid i won't get it. everyone says "why are you getting them? your eyes are already pretty" but i'm bored and want to see if a different color would look good. everyone says it looks fake. i don't know. advice?

i have brown eyes, so you may have better luck. i tried some purple ones...........and they looked ok. it wasn't as 'dramatic' as i thought it would be because of my brown eyes.....although they were a color supposedly made for people with brown eyes.
i think you could have fun with them, give them a try. although they do feel a little thicker on the eye than a normal lens!

Hmmm... I don't know if they are stupid or not.. but I have wanted to get the "Cartoon Knock-out" contacts for some time... they are the all white contacts with the X in the middle! They are so cool looking! There are also contacts like "Devil Eyes", many colors, some with messages, some with symbols.. lots to choose from...
Oh.. the ones i'm thinking of are non-perscription.

Well.... Martina McBride has been one of my favorite singers for a long time. When she first came out she had light blue gray eyes. You can see this from her earlier videos. Then when she made the video "my baby loves me" she wore blue contacts that made her eyes a more vivid, darker or brighter blue. It was pretty, too. Go ahead & try them & see what you like. Of course it looks fake, just like some of the wigs that Jessica Simpson shows off. But they still can look good! Have fun! :)
P.S. I'm not sure if it's possible to make your eyes look lighter if you have darker eyes, cuz some of your natural color will show thru & I think contacts usually make your eyes darker & more vivid, not lighter but can appear brighter....
I saw a girl around here that had blue eyes (pretty sure they were or a shade like it, I know they weren't brown!) & one day they were this dark shade of brown & I almost asked her if she had had blue eyes but we were both kinda busy. I would've liked to tell her that I liked her natural eye color better. Say something tactful like, "May I compliment your natural eye color? I really like it better!" :) Maybe another shade of blue or green woulda been okay but the brown flat out looked bad. :/

Whatever makes you feel good about yourself do it. I think it would be cool. My eyes are also blue green but I'd like to get some contacts that are more green.

NO acualy a lot of people love to change their eye color and then contacts make it posible. And no it does not look fake unless you tell everyone that those are just contacts.

I wear coloured contacts all the time. I have blue eyes but opt for brown eyes or even green eyes sometimes. It's great because you can makes so many more outfits work for you. It's great. Good luck and Enjoy!

I don't like them...I think they always look fake. Its weird talking to someone with fake-looking eyes.

I have brown eyes & yrs. ago I got gray colored contacts , everyone liked them & they looked natural
