i like the screen on the sony, and the way you can select the cd you play, but i don't like that you have to use it with a crummy music download service, which would force me to transfer all of my stuff, which isn't the big thing, its just the music service in general. i like how small the shuffle is, and i love the orange, and how i can keep all my music on itunes(like 500 songs). i tried my sister's shuffle for a day, and she used my 30GB video. we loved each others, but i need something smaller than a video, and a shuffle is about as small as you get. anyway i just would like to no which you like.

Even though the sony has one or two extra features, I would still get another Shuffle. The Shuffle sound is incredible, and the quality of the unit is top notch..
It is just an awesome unit. I use it for music, audio books and podcasts all the time. And I use the same files in iTunes for my PC. Very smooth, never a problem.

The shuffle is not good. Probably great for a child but if youre going to get anything by apple, you are going to have to get something with a screen. im not familiar with the other brand but if it has a screen , then go for that one.

i think u shud get the shuffle. i use to have one and it worked very well for me. its small and convenient. i wud go w/ the shuffle because i owned one and know about it. im not familiar with the sony though. just saying from experience

go for sony
coz its small good looking and has many diffrent formats in which u can store songs
there is a nw-s700 series that has noise cancellation in its earbuds which cancels noise upto 75%
so u can listen to songs in noisy area too.
sony is way better that apple

the shuffle doesnt hold enough songs, you should get an i-pod nano 4gb. its small, and holds more songs than a shuffle!
