For awesome bead stores in your area Check the phone book. You might have a HObby Lobby, Joanns or Micheals craft store they are all 3 awesome and have great things there.

ALso go online to www.firemountaingems.com and request a catalog it is GREAT and they have awesome products. and Everything they have it assoratble in pricing the more you buy of any thing the better the deal you can one of everything in the book and the deal only get bigger dont have to be all the same item to get a discount

For online shopping, the beadroom can't be beat. It has competitive prices, and very quality products.

I also believe that my local bead store has the best overall, because the owner has become a good friend, with tips and suggestions, plus she helps me look through her catalogs and gives me ideas about how to work my projects. If you have a locally owned bead shop, you would probably receive the best service and advice there.

For sharing tips and ideas on beading, I have found the allcrafts.net forum to be one of the best. They have been online for several years, and have excellent resources.

There are two VERY good sellers on ebay that I trust, with fantastic prices, great quality items, and wonderful selections. I've had personal contact with both sellers and I can tell you that they are both very kind, sweet individuals, with generous natures who are willing to go out of their way to ensure you the best quality and prices they can offer. Both stores are out of China so the shipping time is a bit long (2 to three weeks average) but in the end when you see the product it's all worth it and You're still paying way below retail! They both take paypal only and do mostly buy it now items.

Once again, I love fire mountain gems. If you scroll down the left side to the section called designer fun, they have a virtual bead board, free projects, gallery, etc. The best thing is that for many of the projects, there are links directly to the item numbers used so that you can order the items. And their prices are pretty reasonable too!
