Trust: reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
Very trusting to trusting to doubtful to very doubtful as the as the importance of the situation/information/emotion increases.
And as Cali said, very doubtful to doubtful to trusting to very trusting the more I get know the person I'm sharing things with.
That's the plan... the reality, too trusting - too soon.

interesting question! it would depend on the situation. I can say i trust someone, although i have my doubts, but i guess it comes down to wether u trust them enough to give them the benefit of the doubt. Everyone deserves at least 2 chances incase they mess up first time

I am a trusting person... i think you have to believe that it is in a persons nature to be truthful and do the right thing. I have been burned in the past but I inherently am a trustful person but once someone has broken that trust they usually never regain that trust....

I guess I am always waiting for the other shoe to drop-so to speak--I don't trust-- and I wait for the other person to prove I am right--this is only because of the thousands of times i did trust people and got screwed over--now after all this experience my untrustworthy radar is usually pretty accurate!

I am 57 and except for my daughter I have been let down by everyone I was ever really close to. I have to say I don't really trust anyone and that I am never surprised anymore when someone proves themself to just be a dumb old human being!

With most people I am full of doubt until you prove that you are trustworthy, then when you betray my trust you are back to being on my list.

I have an amazing ability to correctly sum up a person's character upon meeting them. Unfortunately, this has made me quite a cynic. It's rough being right all the time....
Honestly, I really wish that just one time someone would prove me wrong.
