Flip Flopper should come to mind first. Iran excepts the Geneva Convention and another invasion from Bush would be astronomical. What's this as a concern?

Tony Blair and George Bush are in bed together. Tony Blair is there to back W against the UN and against other countries. W doesn't have any right to step in and say anything. The reason that Tony Blair will be stepping down is because of the criticism that he has received because he backs W. W doesn't care about the Geneva Convention he has taken personal freedoms from free American citizens why would he care about the rights of prisoners?

W is a little man who has a taste of power and it has gone to his head. He is a legend in his own mind. It probably would have been better for the British POW's if W would have kept his mouth shut.

Delphi- The Iranian government has taken British soldiers their prisoners.............

Droopy, geneva conventions apply to members of a military that represent a soverign nation. Terrorists do not fall into that category. The British sailors do, and the wacky Iranians that abducted them do also. Get educated before you start blabbering about things which you don't know about.
I would have liked to hear Bush tell the Iranians to free our friends or NUKES would be dropped on Amidinejads house. Screw the Iranians and all the other ragheads out there.

Cite me one example of how the president hasn't followed the Geneva convention since your such an expert on the articles? Quite to the contrary, The Geneva convention was designed for uniformed combatants of a sovereign nation which the insurgents clearly are not! The conventions where designed to not recognize partisans/insurgencies to stop that sort of thing from happening. Well, its happening, however those captured like the ones being incarcerated at Guantanamo Bay, will not be, nor should they be given the same rights as those fighting for a nation, in uniform, under a flag. What now, going to condemn the United States for executing German prisoners that where captured in American uniforms during the second world war? They weren't afforded the rights of the convention either!

Bush is in real trouble with this issue, since it will open the flood gates to more investigations over the American Constitution with Abu Graib and Guantanamo prisons. Denouncing the Geneva Convention was also UN-Constitutional with Bush's Presidency.

The US does follow the Geneva convention, which grants only limited rights to non-regular combatants. But Iran is not doing so; the convention prohibits showing POW's in the media.

I think your tinfoil hat is loose. You really need to get off the democrat kool aid and do some critical thinking. Read the Geneva Conventions, they don't apply to terrorists or to enemy combatants that don't wear uniforms and hide behind their women and children.

Well the British sailor are uniformed troops and the Geneva convention applies to them . Enemies that do not abide by the convention when they fight are not protected by it when they are captured.
