Republicans are not the enemy within nor are the Democrats. The two party system works and can work and fortunately this whole mess is teaching the American people a lesson. That a government that is suppose to work for the people that should tell the people the truth and when it doesn't you have to speak out. I know that some of you get frustrated with some of the people that answer here because there so out of tooth with reality they don't know and don't want to know the facts. They Rather go on tirades about past presidents or make up unbelievable facts. Just ignore them as most people now do they don't help the country or themselves. The real enemy within is the power major corporation have and its influence in our government. As long as candidates and serving members can be bought they will be and the nation will continue to spiral downward.

I'm not sure its possible to judge our current political parties since 911 under the same set of rules as before. They have been faced with extraordinary circumstances and have been floundering to find the best ways to deal with them.
Many, many mistakes have been made, not the least of which has been ignoring the internal problems facing the nation while fighting a questionable war. It is also extremely difficult to determine what the truth is about many things. Too much conflicting information and too much secrecy is causing confusion and mistrust.
There has been a terrible lack of oversight for too long and an odd approach to investigating some huge events. It was unfortunate that these things happened while there was a majority of Republicans in power. Their party loyalties led to an ineffective government. Was this intentional? Only time will tell.

what we were warned about decades about from George Washington is what the character of a president should be...what we got with the last liberal president was
- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court
what you have to ask yourself is with Hillary R. are we looking for eight more years of the same. Unless your a fan of travelgate, filegate, whitwater, the cattle futures fiasco, the health care fiasco, the vince foster coverup, the montana land grab, the largest tax increase in us history, the tie breaking vote to tax social security breaking a fifty year promise to the nations elderly, etc,, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out who the real enemy is from within. The real question is why duck your head in the sand with cut and run and not face the enemy head on and defeat them...none of the people that caused this are republicans...how could they be the enemy?

The Democrats are proving themselves our enemy. For one thing they hunger to destroy our economy and put in a socialist program in health care, and dump the stock market.
