it cant be because if you went for a drive in the car going in the direction of rotation you would arrive at your destination but it would be impossible to get back going against the rotation so there would be a lot of people lost and homeless

Luckily the car is already spinning at the same speed as the earth and so the direction of spin has no further effect on the car whichever way it wants to go.
