Regarding the WC 2007 in WI many are eagerly waiting to know who will lift the Cricket WC this time?

Here is an interesting thought: It will be AUS VS SL Final & AUS will lift the cup beating the SL to do a Hattrick of WC Wins

Pls note below how it works:

Year WC Winner
1975 West Indies
1979 West Indies
1983 India
1987 Australia
1992 Pakistan
1996 Sri Lanka
1999 Australia
2003 Australia
2007 Australia

See Sub - Continent teams,

India reached the finals twice, first time won, (1983) second time lost, (2003) to Australia

Pakistan reached the finals twice, first time won, (1992) second time lost, (1999) to Australia

Sri lanka will reach the finals twice this time, first time won, (1996) second time lost, (2007) to Australia

So Australia will become champions & will do a Hattrick of WC Wins beating Sri lanka who beat them in the 1996 final.

New Zealand is a very competative outfit under Stephen Fleming. They have been playing well so far and with players like Shane Bond and Styris and Fleming they have all the chances to come to the finals. Australia are the favourites and it might be a Australia v New Zealand final and the team which plays well on that day may emerge as winners.

I have been impressed with NZ more so than anyone else.Aus have looked good but when they played SA both sides had already qualified for the S 8's whereas NZ and Eng were playing there first game.Aus have looked impressive but I think teams will attack them more in later games which will see if they are as good as they have looked up to now.Sri Lanka are looking strong as well .W I need to get there game together ,but to be fair to them thay have had a tough start in the S 8's and I would not write them off just yet.
Much as I would like to England do it,unless they get there top order going veery soon the pressure on Collingwood,Pierterson and Flintoff to make up the runs will be to great and they will fall by not putting the runs on the board
Predictions for the semis is Aus,SA ,Sri Lanka and NZ after that it will be up to who is mentally the toughest .

While New Zeland are a strong contender for the world cup if they continue to play at the same level they are playing now, since cricket is a game of uncertainties nothing can be predicted for sure.

I would love to see the Black Caps win the WC. It is a bit harder now with Vincent out but if Bond gets on bowling like he is (his RPO in this WC is like 3.1) and the other bowlers and the batsmen keep backing him up his effort, anything is possible.

Australians are expected to win. Atleast that is the general assumption of many cricket lovers. But i feel one cant disregard the Kiwis in any way. They have prooved that they have in them the capacity to win the Kangaroos. I too think the Kiwis have plenty of chances. Let us wait and see.
