I'm so sorry D. I've been having three or four nights a month like that. I move from my bed to the couch and turn on the tv. I find something mindless and eventually sleep comes.

6:26 am here... April Fools on me. Sleep is hiding away from me tonight.
Eat a banana and drink a glass of milk. Some sort of chemical reaction between the two is supposed to induce sleep. I hate milk... and the monkey ate all of the bananas.
Good luck. If you figure it out, send sleepy thoughts my way, please.

2. play relaxing music
3. clean
4. watch tv
5. do some work
6. drink warm milk
7. call someone thats up if you can find them
8. knit or crochet
9. read
10. tighten all the muscles one at a time in your body, count to 10 and relax each

Umm... When I can't get sleep, I eate cheese and drink milk. Believe me, it helps! Or, you can take some kind of boring book to read (I always take my history coursebook, read a few pages and I'm asleep...). Good luck for you!!!! (just don't drink coffe, cola or something that may have caffeine ;)

This happens to me all the time. I don't fight it anymore I just embrace it. What ever you do don't think about not sleeping, because you will certainly not be able to then. I use this time to clear my head, and ponder the wonders of this world

Find the one thing that you do shut off your thinking and relaxes you. Read, listen to music,watch TV or any other background noise that relaxes you. Then let your stress go .Close you eyes and sleep.

WHen i cant sleep i play on the internet...
blah is 6:30 am and have yet to make it to bed.. The internet thought is a bad one.. dont try it.. lol...
