5¹ = 5
5² = 25
5³ = 125
5⁴= 625
5^5 = 3125

looks like these are powers of 5. Thererefore 5=5^5=3125.
But as stated before if 1=5 then 5=1. You probably did not copy the whole question. But following the logic it should be 3125.

'1 can be equated to 5 but at the same time 5 might not neccessarily be equal to 1'
You need to check your maths, in fact the entire question is nonsensical if we are being pedantic. 1=/=5, thats true, no denying it. The first term of a sequence is 5, the second term is 25 etc etc. So if you write the false statement 1=5 then it is true that 5=1 due to the reflexivity of the equals sign when dealing with real numbers.

i hate maths but i think the answer is 3125 and not 1 like most of the people may put it and thats ofcourse if you follow the mathematical rules of sequence and series 1 can be equated to 5 but at the same time 5 might not neccessarily be equal to 1
