People can't, or shouldn't be categorized into any group.
#1 It really doesn't matter what we say a person or group of people are because people define who or what they are themselves & can change as they see fit.
#2 This world changes regularly just as we do as people. Someone can easily be the opposite of who they themselves original thought they were.
#3 There are only 2 ways to look at people .... Believers and Non-Believers.
No matter what the situation (school, religion, family, financial success, or personal growth) you either believe in what you want or you live without it!
No matter who you are or who someone thinks you are, you should always keep individuality and an open mind. Your level of Success is always up to you.

Well....there are lots of different types of people in the world, this is my view:
1. City folks- love living in the city, are generally more career driven, go to the coffee houses, are baby boomers, tend to be a bit more yuppyish, make play dates for their dogs, and tend to have road rage at a higher level.
2. Suburban folks- live on the edge of the city, go to coffee houses when in the city, drive SUV's while going to the city to work, do have road rage at times, but a simple California howdy suuffices when they're irritated, have more than 1 dog (but don't take them on play dates) generally moved to the burbs for a better family environment and claim they live the country life.
3. Country folks- actually live in the country, (pretty much as far from the city as possible), make their hot beverages at home, have the extra city dogs "dumped" on them because it's best if the "dog can run", drive pickup trucks, let their kids go outside barefoot, love chores and taking care of their land and animals, and still find time to give a friendly nod when someone lets them into traffic when they're in the city.
I believe ALL types of people have their strengths and weaknesses, but the whole mixture of us keeps life interesting.
I'm the number 3, simply because I am, and it's better than being known as a number 2.

One aspect of this question that has not been touched on is the 3 types of people in a group dynamic. Watching people work as a team or in a group you find 3 distinct types.
I have seen different labels for them but you have:
1. Planner, leaders, or engineers
2. Doers, followers, or mechanics
3. Waiters, watchers, or supervisors
I am very definitely a number 1

Actually four kinds:
First- There are the cop-outs.These people set no goals and make no decisions.
Second- There are the hold-outs.They have a beautiful dream, but they're afraid to respond to its challenge because they aren't sure they can make it.These people have lost all childlike faith.
Third- There are the drop-outs.They start to make their dream come true. They know their role. They set their goals, but when the going get tough, they quit. They don't pay the toll.
Finally- There are the all-out. They are the people who know their role. They want and need and are going to be stars: star-students, star-parents, star-waitresses,etc.They want to shine out as an inspiration to others. They set their goals and make it happen.
I'm between first and second.

The three types are...
1) Saved by grace alone 2) anti-the God of the Bible
3) Those confused about who is right.
Number 1 is the safest place to be so there I stand.

I think from what I know is that:
1. People who are smart and know that they are and will use their knowledge.
2.People who are not smart and know that they are and admit that they need to learn more or improve themselves or at least ask other people for help when they do not know
3. People who are not smart and not aware of themselves being so and they are most stubborn into admitting that they dont know as they think they are good already.

I have discovered over the years that there generally seem to be two kinds of people in the world. And these categories can be very distinct. There are Coke people and Pepsi people. There are dog people and cat people. Coffee people and...well, everyone else. Morning people and night people. And of course, there are PC people and...Mac people.
