Carter was humiliated by Iran and directed the worst economy in U.S. history. Bubba Clinton was impeached and disbarred in utter humiliation after committing perjury and undermining the judicial system. Are Democrats proud of these two losers?

From some of the statements on here, they must be.

Sad that they are the best role models they can come up with.

"caretake" under Carter, with double digit inflation, double digit unemployment and double digit interest rates, no one had money for a mortgage to begin with.

Clinton had nothing to do with the balanced budget.

Only the the House can initiate spending bills, not the Senate nor the president. The '94, House, under Newt, was responsible for a balanced budget no one else. Read the Constitution.

Carter was a bumbling FOOL! Under Carter we were the laughing stock of the world.

It would be better if we could delete the history of Carter ever being president.

Clinton's little lie was only to a Grand Jury, no big thing, huh?

"Pepper", look at the numbers above. He did nothing but destroy this country

Why would you malign brilliant, towering heroes, then utter vulgar lies about supposed things that never occurred? It's the dawg-sheet loser in office now that has, in a treasonist way, destroyed America, just because he's Republican, intentionally destroyed the middle class, just so his buddies can get rich, stabbed taxpayers, and veterans in the back, and intentionally created the greatest deficit the entire world has ever known, or will know. By the way, the economy was fantastic under Clinton, and Carter was a brilliant genius, compared to the dawg-sheet loser we have in the White House today. What a phukken ash whole.

When Jimmy Carter was in office, he was there because the PEOPLE, both republican and democrat - put him there. Ill prepared to run the country - but HONEST, and after Nixon (IMPEACHED) people desperately wanted to feel they could "trust" their president. Habitat for Humanity - I have a great deal of respect for JC as a human being.

Iran held the hostages until the DAY AFTER Carter left office, it's not as if they were rescued by Ronald.

I voted for Clinton twice - I was extremely proud of how he ran the country. I was less proud of the contingent of people who couldn't see past his personal life (or allow anyone else to) - he did more for the country than any Bush ever did or could. We had two politicians for the price of one with Clinton.

I am an Independent. This election - Rudy G gets my vote. Stop with the hate, stop listening to the spin doctors, look at the numbers.

Under Clinton, the US was respected and liked. Even today, people and world leaders LISTEN when Clinton speaks.

When Bush opens his mouth, people reach for the remote control, or go make a "sammich".

Clinton was an angel compared to Bush Inc.

The right-wingers are crying about the wastefull witch-hunts over Valerie Plame...yet conveniently forget the $50 witch hunt which started over Whitewater and when nothing was found, went on to seach for ANYTHING it could find and had to settle for a lie about oral sex.

To make matters WORSE, the chief witch-hunter, Newt Gingrich was cheating on HIS wife at the same time!

That was the most unbelievable waste of money and abuse of power in the history of US politics and demonstrates beyond a shadow of a doubt how hypocritical the Republicans have become.

So, now that the shoe is on the other foot, just remember, "those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones".

You clowns started this, now live with it.

i've got considered this published right here a minimum of 10X via diverse shoppers. extreme high quality tale. although that is fiction and simplistic. enable's say the homeless guy pulls himself mutually and gets a job mowing lawns. He scrapes sufficient mutually for a humble residing. Then he's clinically determined with maximum cancers with no need scientific coverage. He delays getting scientific care, by using fact he's frightened of the charges. His maximum cancers will become terminal, yet nonetheless finally ends up with tens of millions of greenbacks of scientific charges that are nonetheless paid via different customers and/or the government. yet another scenairo - assume the homeless guy is disabled or mentally ill? Or in many circumstances, may well be the two. assume he's a veteran with PTSD? i do no longer prefer to work out abuse of the gadget via lazy human beings the two, yet there are human beings accessible who do have valid desires. Republicans purely prefer to line the pocket books of the very rich. If no longer something, anybody merits high quality and well timed well being care.

Jimmy Carter was not my favorite, he was ill prepared for the task but ruled from the heart. There's never been an ex-President to accomplish as much as he has.

Bill Clinton was eaten up by America's conscientious. I didn't appreciate him for who he was but now see the strength and resolve he gave America. He also had economic recovery until 'W' came in and said "I will give you back the money". Where is the reserve now.

As an old Republican I don't think you can justify your statement about the economy under Jimmy Carter. I don't recall so many foreclosures in his term as we have now.

Carters only legacy is that he kissed Yassir Arafat on the lips to win the Nobel Appease prize and Clintoons lasting legacy is a condom the Chineese named after him. I always knew Clinton was a scumbag but now the Chineese have confirmed that.

Yes they are - fact is that's the best they have to offer America... They think they can rewrite history so that Carter is remembered as a peacemaker and a genius instead of a bungler and so Regan is remembered as a dottering fool with Alzheimer's instead of the man who rescued the US economy and ended the cold war.

About as proud as Republicans are of Nixon ! There are plenty enough crooks to go around for both parties. It is too bad we support them. There has got to be someone of middle ground out there that is a leader and not someone that owes their decisions to Unions and big business. One can only pray.

That's a lot coming from a member of the party of...

Richard "I am not a crook" Nixon

Ronald "I can't remember if we sold weapons to terrorists" Reagan

And George W. Bush.
