copyright applies to a creative work in FIXED form. ideas by themselves don't count, but once written down the copyright is automatic in Berne Convention countries. If you are simply talking about the coding for your web page, then burn a CD (not the rewritable kind) for evidence. If your company empoys a unique process, then that may be further protected by patent or trade secret.

This is called niche marketing (potentially -- I don't know ehere this idea goes in terms of concept/approach/combo). I don't think you can copyright it, especially if someone else is already doing this combo. But you might be able to copyright the technology if it isn't copyrighted and doesn't exist. If it's selling something for a comprehensive product type that no one has made a store for, I think you're out of luck.

I don't think this (http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/) was copyrighted, but it didn't stop the owner from making a ton of money. You might need to just set up shop and see who comes knocking.
