What does BASIC Programming have to do with getting hacked or phished?
Anyway....... BASIC is phased out. Here's a VB tutorial.

Preventing hacking and phishing takes a cranial attachment combined with a bit of knowledge. You don't need to be a programmer.

I don't think that will help you to not get hacked, but I would download some 3rd party controls for the .net framework from
