Unfortunately that planetware site the previous answerer pointed out doesn't really tell too much about small Finnish towns or even cities. The whole site has a massive amount of 10 pictures - from entire Finland! So one small municipality with less than 10 000 people doesn't really get that much of attention... And to speak the truth, no other sites in English give that either. The best direction I could point you would be again wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hattula ). The links point out for example the main town of Hattula, Parola ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parola , there's even a picture of the church the previous answerer mentioned), and from "external links" you can find the site of the Parola tank museum (if you are interested about places like that).

Besides those little tourists attractions there isn't too much to say about Hattula. It's a small municipality with beautiful nature, lakes and forests and not too many people breaking the peace and quiet. The official website, http://www.hattula.fi , is unfortunately only in Finnish, but I think you may be able to find some small pictures even if you don't know what the texts say :)

The nearest decent sized city is Hämeenlinna (only 12km away) where you can find a whooping 47 000 inhabitants and lots of (well, at least more) shops, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Especially the castle of Hämeenlinna is a nice place to visit, I've been there once.

I hope this little information helps!
