I'd like to buy the Japanese baseball game for PS3, but will it work with my US PS3?

Hi,
What the person above me said is false.
All ps3 games are region free, meaning you can buy any ps3 game and it will work on any ps3 console. This is fact.

Go to this link and read the article by IGN for confirmation proof. http://au.ps3.ign.com/articles/697/697656p1.html

The PS3 is region free, but most, if not all, PS3 games will be region free. It's up to the developers to decide whether to make their games region free or not.

If there's a baseball game that you like, I would go to www.play-asia.com and see if it's region coded. Play-asia is pretty good at that.

PS3 is completely region free.

Nope, they're regionally encoded.

This means that you have to buy games and DVD's from the same region that the PS3 is made for.

Sorry!
