yes, when i think about the relationship i had with my mother i feel totally helpless and think that knowone can really understand how hurt i feel when i think about it but if knowone else can help you, you can choose to help yourself or chicken out

i would rather say to people that i had a bit of a struggle to get where i am but i stuck it out than to say that i gave up on life, besides life will go on regardless

let the pain go, join a local group with similar experiences, take up a sport, boxing helped me, diarise your feelings this really does help especially when you go back to read and you realise that you have moved on so much since the last time

good luck

Yep. I had a big problem a couple of years ago. Friends and family were very supportive, but still, it was several months until things started to get better.

I don't know what problem you're facing, so it's difficult to advise, but things you could do include:

pray

get away for a bit - after a break, you might feel more relaxed and able to deal with it

try to find someone who's good in the problem area, and chat it through

carry on talking to and appreciating the efforts of your well-meaning family and friends anyway, even if the answer seems way off.

whatever you do, keep trying! I hope you find a solution soon!

Yes, many times. People can try as hard as they like (and I really did appreciate it) but they can't get into my head and feel exactly what I feel. I had it specifically with buying my first house, with a million forms I didnt understand and noone could explain them or they would offer help that never came. It makes you feel very lonely but know that whatever it is will be over eventually (that's the only way I got through it).

Yes, i cant say what it was but it was the worse time of my life. Nobody could help although they tried. The answer was there and it all worked out right but even now, years later i still remember how bad it felt. x

yes.....sometimes given time and a bit of space the problem shrinks in magnitude and the solution either matters not anymore or comes much easier.

YES..make a decision, stick with it, and if it goes wrong, think that life it's too short to worry.

If only I followed my own advice ocasionally..
