Adjustable shock absorbers are shocks in where you can control the amount of tension the shock is gonna have when you hit a bump. There are nice if you do alot of off-road and on road driving. There are some shocks in where you manually have to adjust a small valve on them on the outside of the shock itself and there are other types that do it automatically when you hit a bump.Hope this helps.
