The last thing I purchased for more than $500 USD was a car repair job. Not only were the brake lines under the driver's side undercarriage "broken", but the gasoline lines as well. A most costly repair job. How lucky that they "broke" at the same time....eh?

Well the last thing I bought that cost more than $500 dollars would be my SUV I bought in February last year...
(But please do not be jealous because it was not my money I used...
My father in law left me some money to buy my new car with before he died...
So actually he paid for this... So sad too...)

Brand new front load washer/dryer Friday night. A whopping $2060.00! We just put it in yesterday and I've been doing laundry ever since. The clothes come out of the washer spun out so much they're almost dry. I really like them... :)

My used GMC Jimmy. I paid $3000 for it about 10 years ago, drove it until someone totaled it at 250,000 miles, the insurance gave me $2500 for it and I got another Jimmy which I drove until it hit 250,000 and finally gave up the ghost.
