Fate is determined by character. Character is moldable, to some degree, by choice. Therefore, fate is mouldable, to some degree.

Take me for example. I'm pretty lazy at times - that's a defect in my character. Sometimes I only study for half an hour when I should've studied two. That's why I KNOW that I won't get 100 percent on my next test, since my character fated it. However, if I step things up and work hard, I might get a B or better.

PS - By character, I mean "the inherent complex of attributes that determine a persons moral and ethical actions and reactions". Hence my example featuring my laziness. It's an unfortuante attribute of mine.

Uner certain circumstances and reasons, certain things will happen. For example, if you drop a piece of cake on the floor, and don't clean it, the ants will come. I don't know this is call fate or not.

I am a free thinker as well.

There is no fate.... there is only decision and direction based on the choices we have before us.....

When one is sleeping, those decisions that we had difficulty in making, is not seen as fate, but as a forked road.... we make the decision to go in either direction...... that is called choice....

fate is foolishly letting nature decide the direction one will go.... surely the wind can blow one off a cliff..... That is fate.....

But choice... is what we have!!!

I choose not to let the wind decide which direction I shall go.... and so I have chosen to seal my fate by sitting here idly chatting with you......

Sure it is. You are fated to be born and fated to die. Why would say that? Have you lost faith and hope?
