Mine were for a while. Broke them both at the same time. Just going to go pee was painful. Pain meds are a wonderful thing!

No! Not at all - without ankles, you couldn't dance, run, skip, or turn your foot. You'd have to stomp in a straight line all the time. What kind of fun is that?

Ankles are extremely important.
For some people, it is the favorite part of the body.
Also, leg irons would never properly work without ankles.
Plus, how would you wear anklets?
