A usb storage device, flash drive, pocket drive, thumb drive etc, all are the same

Earlier we used to have the data carried on the floppys and they are being replaced with the pen drive they are very small in size about 3' inches and they work only usb ports and they can be easily carried and you dont have to install any drivers for the drive it comes with a locking also and it comes with a 1, 2, gb . This much data can be coppied on the pen drive.some of the pen drives dosent work on the windows 98 they require to install the drivers for that hardware.

Pen drive is a removable USB storage device. You can compare it with floppy but it is a higher memory, durable and reliable much more that the floppy.
