Manual is always better unless you are spending an hour a day in traffic. The only thing an auto does better is...nothing. Also remember that you lose 15% of your horsepower through the torque converter. If you plan on keeping the car forever you also risk having to replace the transmission. A clutch is a much cheaper job should you ever need it. Notonly are manuals more fun, they give you more power, more control, and better gas mileage.

By the way...nice car. I hope to get one once I pay off my current car.

this depends on a couple of factors. i prefer manual transmission my self and live in the styx, when i had to go to the city i never used to mind shifting in traffic, nowadays i keep an automatic wagon for city use. the kickdown and upshift points have been adjusted to where they are nearly almost manual trans acceptable sort of.. if you are a city dweller traffic as bad as it is now is only going to get worse go for the automatic if country living is your thing get the manual as some hack programmer working in a office will never be able to get a slush-box to shift exactly right even when they get the right gear for the right rpm the between point power cut is too long.

atm have an r32 skyline auto and even to the point of fetching it was hating it.Had driven autos before and didnt enjoy it but a bargain skyline had to have it no matter what the box.
Love it enjoyed every minute of it within 10 mins thought great.
Mine has power and hold button and overdrive so great fun.
Hopefully buying an r33 skyline next week and its auto again so that has to mean something.
I think the auto experience depends on the car but give them both a try.
Most folks on here etc might say keep away from auto's i would have been one of them but not now..

it somewhat is especially lots a wash. there will be extra automatics to %. from - the instruction manual exchange into provided purely with the comprehensive 6MT kit - so as that would settle it actual there. There are losses in any transmission, although they tend to be slightly extra stated in slushboxes. although, no person different than EPA robots do maximum of their employing on dynos. i think of you are able to properly say it fairly is a non-difficulty. as far as wintry climate climate is going, a set of high quality wintry climate tires - or the lack thereof - will make lots extra of a distinction than who's doing the moving.
