Thankfully most of these monsters are now dead. Those that were not simply shot out of hand by the British and Americans, were systematically hunted down by the Simon Wiesenthal organisation. Any leftovers were put on trial by the Germans themselves. Any who may still be alive are not far from death's door and they know they're on their last journey - the one to HELL!

I am 65 and can positively testify from witness reports told to me in my childhood that the full and total horror of the Holocaust did happen. Many witnesses came forward. Most importantly, the concentration camp of Belsen was relieved by the British Army Medical Corps - it has records. The entire camp guard were arrested and questioned by British Intelligence [SIS]. Not least, the famous British movie star Dirk Bogard was one of those Intelligence officers - he told the world in his writings of what he knew. It happened. If you are a denier, then you are a criminal and a murderer. The thought is as the dead.

I think you will find that most of the people who were involved in the atrocities of the Holocaust have either been caught, or have been executed or have died of old age.
The answerer whose opening contribution to this question is just plain wrong and needs to open his eyes to the truth. My uncle was in the British Army that liberated the Belsen concentration camp and he witnessed the horrors of the extermination of the European Jews at first hand. It happened.

Some people think there should be no apology for slavery and others think that we should still be seeking out the octo/nono-genarians who might possibly have taken part in the Holocaust. (Presumably he means the German Holocaust under the 3rd Reich - regrettably there have been holocausts before and since)

Edited to add - why the thumbs down? Jews and other prisoners in the camps were made to do the dirt work, they were the ones leading their kin to the gas chamber and getting rid of the bodies afterwards. It was either that or be killed yourself. Read a few books on the subject.
