It's so easy! You can use regular US stamps. Go here:

http://ircalc.usps.gov/

and find out how much postage you'll need. If it's just a small letter it should be under 1 oz. But if there's any doubt take it to your local Post Office and they'll weigh it for you.

Where are you tuna? Where do you want to send a letter to Canada from - from under the sea?

Anyway, wherever you are, go to the nearest post office and present your packet or envelope containing whatever you want to send with the address of whoever you want to send it to in Canada and the post office will let you know the required stamp which you can lick and stick on the envelope and drop it in the letter box at the post office!

Here is the simple answer.

If you are mailing a letter in China use a Chinese stamp.

If you are mailing a letter in Brazil use a Brazilian stamp.

If you are mailing a letter in the US use a United States stamp.

If you mailed a letter in the US with a Canadian stamp on it,the item will be returned to you, for proper postage.

How on earth would anyone expect you to have a Trinidad and Tobago stamp in your dresser drawer. I'm not sure where you or anyone would have the idea that you need a stamp from the country where the letter is being mailed to.

Why would you need a U.S.stamp? No, you need a Canadian stamp which you can get at the post office. Yes, just address it and be sure to put CANADA on the last line.

Yes you address it like most any other letter only using their "zip codes", and get your stamps at the post office. It doesn't matter if they are Canadian or US stamps only the postage amount counts.

I would like the answer to that question myself! I would have to say the Post Office, but when I went to inquire about sending a paskage to Canada, the woman in the Post Office couldn't give me an answer!
