I have, what amounts to a 3 way tie:

Simon & Garfunkel: For their ages, their voices are still beautiful. They did a great job with doing some awesome live version much differently from the originals.

Milwaukee Metalfest: I actually don't remeber the year. but these bands played Mayhem, Emperor, Impaled Nazarene, King Diamond, Six Feet Under, Sodom (I Think?), Meshuggah. I was really into the whole black metal thing at the time, I still love that stuff. I met the guys from Mayhem in Dunkin' Donuts, where the kept harassing the lady behind the counter with gutteral demands for a deli sandwich. Then Necrobutcher noticed the Mayhem shirt I was wearing, and said it was cool, but he liked the European version better, because there was more blood.

Iron Maiden (Either of the times that I saw them): After the whole Blaze Bailey thing, Iron Maiden has proved themselves to be a band that has aged very well. They put on one hell of a show!

Eric Clapton at the RBC Center in Raleigh, 2006. Try telling me he isn't the greatest guitarist after watching him perform live.

To those who said Britney Spears, I have this rebuttal.

At least the concert I saw featured music.

I have been to many, many concerts--my most favorite was Bryan Adams-first up then The Police with Sting--now of course this WAS 1983 and you probably weren't born then--but it was at the Aloha Stadium in Hawaii and I drove my turquoise moped there! Aww--the memories!

Weird Al Yankovic, other than the fact it was the only concert i've been to, he sung all of the songs that everyone wanted to hear, making noone care about the 2.5hr tehnical difficulty beforehand!
