In the development of a relationship, yes, most definitely. Now a days, you do have to keep up with the competition, so you do need to pick up the pace. When checking on the reliability of a news source or researching the facts for a news report, yes slow and steady does win the accuracy race.

It all depends what you are being slow and steady with.

I believe that fast and efficient will out do slow and steady. This would take practise and many moments of slow and steady to master a task. Unless of course you are naturally gifted in a given area.
