I have always been fascinated by ancient cultures' written depictions of 'flying beings' and physical descriptions that are incompatible with modern humans. Particularly interesting are the references in ancient Hindu texts to 'flying machines' containing mercury - given that mercury is theorized to be part of a future anti-gravity engine. Since it's unlikely that the people themselves had these machines, the only explanation is someone or something else?

I have been havign this thought too for a long time. I am a hindu and I have read the old and new testaments, the upanishads, puranas and the Bhagwat gita.. what I find is that most of the lore does not require a super human or alien interference... however there are some facts that cannot be explained with an underdeveloped intelligence. Either our ancestors were much more intelligent than us to conceptualize things that were thousands of years ahead of them or they had modelled it after something [alien] as a refernece. I find it hard to believe that if in fact our ancestors were so intelligent, why wasnt it passed down to us? after all, every generation is building up on the intelligence of the earlier ones.
Particularly, the hindu transcripts gives a lot of details on astronomy (most of it doesnt tally with our current astronomical findings).. eg. acc to hindu mythology there are supposed to be 14 lokas or worlds (not planets). Ancient hindus are also believed to have lived for thousands of years just like the old testament. There is no physical evidence to prove that they did live that long, if so how did this idea bridge across?.. these are the things that make it more complex to judge

Greetings!

The answer lies in more open research-we are finding more evidence every day that our Ancestors were a lot more advanced than is commonly thought.

As a Celtic Druid, I have read the stories of how the Tuatha DeDannan arrived in B.C.E. Ireland-In "Flying Boats" that landed on the mountain tops, bringing fantastic weapons and advanced science(Nuadas Silver Hand).

Yours in the Light/!\

People can say anything about anything in the past but when it comes to proving what they say, they have nothing to substantiate about anything they have said or they are no longer there to say something or anything at all! ETs, flying objects, aliens - in whatever names they are referred to, and what happened or what existed thousands, millions, billions, even trillions of years back - they are all just a MYTH and an insult to human intelligence!

There has never been any contact between any person on Earth and non-human intelligent life on other planets. That's the truth, like it or not. All of the UFO reports claiming to have seen alien spaceships are either lies or identification errors. Please stop spreading hoaxes. Educate yourself in regard to the probability of intelligence emerging in the universe. Inform yourself with respect to the logistics of actual interstellar flight, as opposed to whatever Star Trek fantasy you entertain now. When you know more, speak again. Until then, be less talkative.

Mercury is theorized to be part of a "future anti-gravity machine"?

That's the funniest thing I've ever heard!

(You probably shouldn't take that as a compliment.)

It does seem very likely to me that ET's may have visited. I just don't find the evidence to be very convincing because they could have just made up stories.

People do believe that extraterestrial beings were our ancestors. I also believe in that because of how the pyramids
were formed.
