The copyright office will accept registrations from original authors and keep your name anonymous if you so designate. Many writers use a psuedoname instead of just "anonymous" the government will not give out your real name, but will help you in the case of infringement or royalty disputes.

Your publisher will insist that these songs be registered, but you have the right to not have your true name disclosed publicly.
