I am no t suggest that if a wonderful woman is not a virgin that you should not marry her, but all other things being equal, wouldn't you rather she were? Give reasons why.

when I said marry a virgin, I thought it was understood that you could have had sex with her before the wedding, but no one else has.

Yes, a virgin is much more preferable than a woman who has been around. Do you prefer virgin underwear or used? Do you prefer food someone bit off of or fresh food? Do you prefer a new pair of shoes or used? New goods are much better than used goods. Plus she will always be comparing you to others. Furthermore, she is far less likely to have diseases, children, other baggage.

Yes. Its The Same Reason I Would Want To Have Sex With Any Virgin. Your The First One Inside Her Ever. She Will Remember You Forever. But Then For Marriage I Suppose Because She Would Know Nobody Elses Dick. I Suppose They Just Seem Cleaner In A Way. Doesn't Matter Though. Like 50% Of Marriages Now Adays End In Divorce Right?

If she is a wonderful woman, why does it matter? I don't think I would want to marry a porn queen but I wouldn't want to marry a virgin either. My thoughts are that I would really want to enjoy my wedding night, not be worried about hurting her. You would have to teach a virgin EVERYTHING, and it might not be a good fit. I'm would agree that it is a very special gift that a woman can give but would she want to marry a virgin that would just fumble around and not know how to please her? I think the same goes for a man.

I dont know....it all depends on the way you have been raised....what your moral expectations of a wife are. Its a very personal thing. I know when I was young and inexperienced there was this wonderful guy I really liked and he liked me. He was a virgin and I had very little experience. The thought of having sex with him was very offputting for me. I couldnt bring myself to be intimate with him because I didnt think he would know what he was doing and because I didnt really know what I was doing either, the whole idea kinda turned me off. It is probably different for men, but I dont know if being a virgin would be such a good thing. What if your inexperienced woman was that way because of some prudish ideas. What if she hadnt had sex because she didnt want to experiment. What if the woman you loved and who was a virgin only thought missionary position was the only way to have sex. What if your virgin love was hung up about sex and had very outdated ideas on what sex and intimacy is all about. I dont know, its a subjective topic and I guess depends totally on what you expect your future partner to be.

Well I'm sure the opposite sex would also want the same thing, why wouldn't they? Although in the century we are in I think it is very acceptable to be doing anything with someone who isn't a virgin, unlike back then if girls weren't virgins until marriage they were burned like witches.

Yes it would be okay. I am 52 and you don't meet any 52 year old virgins do you? Everyone has a history. If I was 22 then I would like to say yes and that we would be together for ever but I know from my past that does not happen often nowadays.

You must be a fool. Contact a psychiatric first. My grandma got wed at 9, and she could afford to remain a virgin. Now, when girls get married at 30, do you expect them to sing kirtans at night?
Get a virgin she goat then, if you are so obsessed with virgin wife.

I think realistically it was more common for woman to be virgins when they were getting married right out of high school and 18 years old. Now, woman go to college, have careers.....and aren't looking to settle down or marry until closer to 30.
I hate to rain on your parade.....but virginity isn't all its cracked up to be. I would think your focus would be on finding a wife who is confident, secure and can contribute to a marriage emotionally and physically. But that's just my thoughts.......

the problem with this is, men marry a virgin and then 10 years down the line, if the marriage is not 100% perfect ( and no marriage is) the woman will ask herself is she missing something or has she missed something as she has nothing to compare to. That is a fact.

Why do guys always prefer a virgin wife/girlfriend when women are cool about their husbands/boyfriends not being virgins?
