You lick your teeth a ton cause you arent used to them being smooth.

And you will be amazed at how straight your teeth are.

for the first couple of days, from memory, my teeth felt slimy. But that was just because I was used to having the roughness of the wires in my mouth, not just my teeth. Also, you probably won't be able to stop smiling every time you go past a mirror. You'll be amazed how wonderful your teeth look!! Also, I recommend an appointment with your dentist as soon as you can to get your teeth cleaned. You'll have an even more dazzling smile than before!

Its feel really good to run your tongue over you teeth for the first time after getting them off but because you have to wear a retainer the majority of the time for the first year it kind of feels similar to wearing braces.

Ha! Getting them off should be fast and easy.
Ew, I just remember my teeth feeling slimy and slippery. Mom laughed at me for running my tongue over them all week.
My gums were red and irritated for a while, but they went back to normal after a week.
Make sure to smile lots!

I had my braces back in the 80s. So I Had a mouth full of metal. It felt really good to once again have smooth no sharp edge teeth.

awsome! your teeth will feel smooth and slimy feeling. But its the best feeling its like you had a facelift of the mouth. Nothing like it. Just wait. you can show off your nice new teeth. Dont tell anyone, just smile and surprise them all. Just make sure to always use your retainers after as your teeth will be happy to go crooked again if you dont.
:)

When I got mine off it felt so good to slide my tongue across them again... It feels amazing but then you freak because you don't want them to drift back.. When you get your retainer... WEAR that uncomfortable thing... It is worse than the braces.. Especially at night, in the a.m. you will run straight to the tooth paste... LOL! Oh so happy those days are done... :o)
