The speed of dark is the rate of speed at which the slowest guy in a group runs trying to out run a hungry tiger.
Tigers always wonder ? Is this guy I'm about to catch more light meat or more dark meat? And it is always more dark meat because the guy is running at the speed of dark.

Lets say that you were standing 4,000 miles away from an ultra powerful light and it took you about 4 seconds to see the light once it was turned on
wouldn't it take you 4 seconds to realize it was turned off?
