What would you do if the Federal Government no longer was able to think and care for you?

Would you just die or would you do your own thinking and provide for your family and protect your family with your own weapons? You do realize that the ONLY thing that is keeping you out of a labor/concentration camp RIGHT NOW is the fact that the 2nd Amendment is still alive. You do realize this don't you?

Actually, the 2nd Amendment isn't doing much, because the combined military and police force of the government far outweighs the collective armaments in the private sector. Except maybe organized crime -- how's that for ironic.

But aside from keeping the roads in good repair, and law enforcement, I'm quite happy with the govt cutting back to about 10% of its current activites. Drop the other 90%.

I'm from New Hampshire -- no sales tax, no state income tax, no social services. Live free or die -- you're on your own.

Well fortunately, the government doesn't think for me and they don't take care of me. However, we need protection from out government. They can do just about anything they want and say that their actions are covered under the patriot act.
Do I have guns? sure I do. Not many, but some. I do not belong to the NRA and I do not think that the government wants to take them.
We would all be better off if the government stayed out of our lives.

Well if that were the situation I wouldve already had something in place to allow me to self govern, something that allows me to provide security and services that the government would normally provide. Who knows, maybe organize enough people to take over the government myself. Hell I deserve to be the leader.

The second amendment was a good idea back in the day, but now the government has cruise missiles and tanks. And if the FBI wants to come into your house, their going to come in.

The second amendment is outdated. There is absolutely no reason for civilians to own automatic machine guns.
