Before telling you where to go, I think we need to set you straight about something first. PC4200 is actually 533MHz memory. PC6400 is 800 MHz. Just making sure you don't buy the wrong stuff :)

I buy all of my gear from 1 of 2 places. WWW.NEWEGG.COM , and WWW.TIGERDIRECT.COM . They have excellent customer service, so if something ships to you and it is defective, you won't have to jump through hoops with the manufacturer. NEWEGG or TIGER will simply send you a new one and then THEY will deal with the menufacturer. Personally, I've never gotten anything defective from them, but it happens.

Right now, Newegg has 1GB (2x512) of GeIL RAM for only $75. It has very low latency (4-4-4-12). Most DDR800 is 5-5-5-15. That's not even the sale price! That's their normal everyday price.

Also, they are ALWAYS cheaper than going to a store. A friend of mine bought a graphics card at Best Buy and he paid $90 for it. When I went to Newegg, the same card was $50.

I would steer clear of that eBay store that is listed above. I checked it out, and most of the RAM there doesn't list the manufacturer. Samsung isn't who made the RAM, Samsung made the chips. Samsung is a very popular chip-maker for RAM. Heck they may have even made the GeIL chips!

Siempre he estado contenta con las compras y los productos que he recibido de sitios web, lo último que he comprado ha sido una memoria RAM de 1 Gb, la memoria se ha hecho su función y se puede ver claramente el cambio así que seguro que voy a comprar otra.

I've found this to be a good source for a resonable price.
