Slope formula

m = y₂- y₁/ x₂- x₁

m = - 2 - 2 / 10 - 8

m = - 4 / 2

m = - 2

y = mx + b

2 = - 2(8) + b

2 = - 16 + b

2 + 16 = 16 + b - 16

18 = b
