seriously the term magic was often used to describe events - actions - etc that at the time there was no explanation for - or somebody made up to make themselves more interesting.

Its just perception really - we can explain almost everything these days but we still have our own "magic" UFOs etc

I would think yes. Look at the Pyramids and explain how the stones got put into place without magick.

In the dark ages it was. And in the middle ages. I'm not sure what you mean by ancient. I consider my father ancient and he's only 91.
