Obviously he doesn't WANT to divorce his wife. There is a time limit on divorce papers. If she hasn't "answered" (responded) to them within a certain amount of time he would be granted a default judgement of divorce. Her signature is not needed. If he is telling you it is then he didn't file any papers and they certainly were not sent (FYI, if HE sent the papers then he voided the filing because it is against the law for HIM to send the papers, himself.)...He has no intentions of divorcing his wife.

yes there is help out there .u don't need a signature, there is this clause that say's something about"dissulison of something "ask a divorce lawer".I went to a laywer & I got my divorce & I didn't need nothing from that sorry excuse of a man.&get this my divorce was final before I paid the laywer, paper's in hand. But now I think it also depend on who want's the divorce?I wanted it,I left him, threw his *** out,I paid for it.and he had deserted me,abandoned me &also 6 children @that time, but if u want that divorce,u do not need anything from other party, just pay to file paper's.good luck.&mine was only $300.00 total ,with monthly payments, included.

Yes he can, but he will have to take her to court. She can't force him to be married to her.

Please do not make such life's decisions in haste.
For now enjoy your time together. And keep sending him uplifting communication while he's away. All good things take time!
