President Bush will not be impeached. The Speaker of the House said that she doesn't support such a thing, the President has not committed High Crimes or treason as most reasonable people will agree, and an impeachment will bring more radical fringe players to the process, not the majority in the middle.
As for your claim that George W. Bus is the best president ever, I strongly disagree. I feel he is the worst president in my lifetime.
He attacked a sovereign nation and waged war without being attacked. The United States had never been an aggressor nation like Nazi Germany. Furthermore, he lied to the American public about the reasons he went to war. Whether through omission or ignorance, his "faulty intelligence" was nothing more than orchestrated lies.
He readily claims that only he can order troops into battle as his role in Commander In Chief, but denies any knowledge of or takes any responsibility for the actions of his troops in Iraq, Abu Ghrib, Guantano Bay Prison, Bagram Air Base murders, etc.
He said that the United States did not have to follow the Geneva Conventions and Articles of War.
He has distorted and suppressed scientists in all branches of the government that disagree with his pont of view and policies. From global warming to cancer research to stem cell research to pollution from power plants, he has edited and re-written government studies so they are inaccurate or incomplete, and only support his position.
He ordered the government to spy on American citizens in direct conflict with the 4th Amendment.
He permitted torture and extraordinary renditions that violate the 8th amendment.
He has denied the writ of habeus corpus a basic tenat of the justice system dating back to 1218 in the Magna Carta.
He has confined an American citizen (Jose Padilla) for almost five years before charging him with a crime, and then, unlike the high profile news conferences where he makes claims of terrorism, he was shuffled into a lower court and charged with illegal weapons.
He using jargonistic slogans such as the "Patriot Act" which really denied basic rights and freedoms, "Clear Skies Initiative" which really allowed more pollutants in the air and lead levels in drinking water, and the "No Child Left Behind" Act, which has been rejected by two states outright and destroys public education as we know it today.
He has destroyed American credibility and prestige throughout the world that foreign students, engineers, and scientists would rather go to school and work in other countries than the United States.
He hired people to re-build Iraq based on their views of abortion, not if they were city planners, project managers, engineers, or had any relevant skill required for building a city and nation.
More than anything else, he leads by bullying. If any member of Congress spoke against him, they were unpatriotic or soft on terror. He called them names and ridiculed them. He has abused every power granted to him by Congress in the Patriot Act that was rammed through in a time of fear and hysteria fanned by President Bush himself.
Lastly, for a bunch of supposedly, moral, family value oriented gentleman, President Bush and his adminstration strike me as a group of closeted homosexuals fearful that their secret might be discovered. There are so many stories of their past drug use, immoral and/or irresponsible behavior, and sexual proclivities that I cannot think they are all just rumors.
More than anything else, I find President Bush to be a hypocrite, not even an adequate president.

Oh there is no chance Bush will be impeached. People are waiting for the war crimes trials after his Administration is done. The longer Bush stays the course in office until January 20, 2009 the more lies and more corruption thus the more scandals that will be uncovered. That will get closer to ensuring a Democratic Party landslide both in the White House and both chambers of Congress. It has nothing to do with vengence for the kangaroo court of Clinton.
If you think Bush is even good let alone great you are in a very small minority. Experts say he is the worst President the US has ever had. But you dream on and think what you want. Some day you'll wake up and smell the coffee. More and more people are every day.
What lies will be next? What scandal will be next? Bush is a liar, arrogant, greedy, incompetent and corrupt. And so are his close associates.

Bush is not being impeached. So, it's not going anywhere.
Despite the evidence, there is no way the Senate is going to vote 2/3 to convict given the current partisan conflict. So, why waste time arguing the bill of indictment (impeachment) in the House if there is no way to convict in the Senate?
That's why Pelosi said "no impeachment".

They continue to talk impeachment but there is a problem. There must be something wrong done in order for them to do so. So they are stuck and can't impeach.

Sub-30% approval rating?
Are you kidding me?
If Bush had an orgy in the oval office I wouldn't give a rat's a $$.
However, destroying the middle east is NOT a good thing.
Next on his plate is Iran, you watch. Then there is a war that will require the draft.

With such a low approval rating, you'd think he would have been long gone by now. Maybe this means he hasn't done anything wrong? Hmm...

They'll never impeach him. They have to have grounds to do such a thing and everyone knows there are none. They just like to spout their nonsense to make themselves feel relevant.
***Please note the personal attacks from dems who have nothing intelligent to say.
