i am a soccer fan and i dont even follow MLS. sure having becks will add some interest to soccer fans, but aside from having his arrival crammed down our throats, most american sports fans wont care.

american soccer has so many problems. having becks is like buying a rolls royce (a used one) when you cant afford the rent

The first 2 make it clear that Americans don't care. I don't Beckham does either. He gets a load of cash, LAG will win the MLS. Really, no one cares. I wonder why USA has no interest in soccer, the most popular sport in the world. Only the women's team succeeds.

i think it's awesome though, a high profile footballer will get some people to go to games but to the ignorant americans who don't know anything about football it won't make a difference
