The Star Wars saga. It has a dramatic, explosive theme....a dark, diabolical march for the bad guys (the empire)....a hopeful, almost dreamy melody for the good guys (the rebels)....and interludes that blend and twist those melodies into recognizable yet unique melodies.

Nightmare Before Christmas. It's a musical, so it was composed specifically for the movie, but I don't know if it is technically a score. If not, Batman.

Out of Africa was pretty incredible. I knew people who talked about how beautiful the music was, even more memorable than the performances..

Excalibur.

I also loved the score to "The French Lieutenant's Woman." Carl Davis.

Can't leave without saying, "I'm dancing, and singing in the rain..." Great!

Probably no one will agree, but Young Guns back in the day had a great score. Gets you all riled up and and excited and rooting for the guys. Specifically when they are running from John Kinney, LOL.. F-in great

-Batman Begins: It is a good score composed and written by two masters (hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard) they music goes perfectly with the movie.
-Titanic: Come on.... it was #1 for 16 weeks.... gotta give James Horner and Celine Dion credit
