It's stands to reason tis could happen as it is often rumoured poor people eat pet food sometimes. any stats would be of interest. Or any first hand information would be better.

I dont believe that the amount rat poison found in the pet food is significant enough to disable the human immune system. However, over 100 animal deaths have been blamed for the food.

It's true.I used to eat 3/4 tins of Chappy a week until whiskers started appearing on my face and I was able to lick my own balls which I was previously unable to do ( but not for the want of trying). I've now moved on to a premium dog food and I'm coming along in leaps and bounds "Wuff,Wuff"

I ate dog biscuits when I was about 4-can't remember ever getting ill from it.

My son has a habbit of eating the cat food but he hasn't been ill from it. (yet)

Dunno about that, but there are countries where people eat PETS, not pet food. That's more worrying to me
