Would you consider using "Cool Beans" in everyday language? Have you used it before? Was your hair ratted or did you wear a mullet?

I never ratted my hair or had a mullet either, but I would curl my bangs back and spray the heck out of them so they'd stand up about a foot into the air.

Ya know, I don't know why I hate that expression, "Cool beans" so much! I have a sweet co-worker who alllllways says that. One day, I decided to say "Hot broccoli" every time she said cool beans. It annoyed her, but I did stop after the first hour b/c I had said it about 26 times following her words and was beginning to irritate myself. But, yep. I get to hear that eeeeeeeeevery day. =(

Never heard of "Cool Beans". I'm still using "groovy" so that should answer the ratted and mullet question as well. Oh ... I did have to rat my hair once for a play, but that doesn't count, does it?

I had a mullet in the 3rd grade, but i didn't know it was a mullet so it doesn't count....and because of that, I can say "Cool Beans" to ignorance, because that counts as the perfect excuse for a mullet.

No, no, it's cool *bananas*! I use that often enough. No ratted hair or mullet for me. My boss had a mullet 'til recently. (*shakes head sadly*) Can't take orders from a guy with a mullet.

I use that phrase almost everyday.
And I don't do it with ratted hair or a mullet.
I just like the sound of it. It rolls right off the tounge.
Cool Beans.

I can't ever imagine saying that. I've never ratted my hair or worn a mullet, either.

Not in this decade. It might have happened sometime about 20 years ago, albeit satirically.
No to the hair thing.

I think I might have used it once back in the '90s. I would not entertain using it every day.
