I live in the Bay Area, where the only thing worse than the Raiders is the Raiders fans. Thankfully, Raider's fans have been strangely silent lately, and have not been wearing much silver and black, which makes them more difficult to identify...

I am a Packers fan...

Al Davis takes an active hand in all football operations, and where once he had some undisputable talent for it, now he just does not. The Dolphins may improve a bit, or may not, but the Raiders will continue to be bad or worse. Culpepper is due for a good season, the defense isn't bad, and Miami has a better owner---these things start from the top. I wish your friend had some more money to bet on this one---I'd like a couple hundred dollars on this one. Hands down, you win.

Of course its gonna be the Miami Dolphins. Not only did they get 5th in overall defense this year. They improved it by adding a great LB Joey Porter, which will give them one of the elites front 7 in the league. (DE and LB)

The Dolphins finished 26th in offense, but with a possible Trent Green trade or a decent Daunte Culpepper and Ricky coming back this team is gonna be good. Then the Dolphins division is gonna be weaker with the Bills losing Willis Mcgahee and the Jets coming off of a year I really don't think they can repeat.

The Dolphins also greatly improved by signing the BEST OFFENSIVE COORD in the game. The Offensive Coord of the 2006 number 1 offensive team in the NFL San Diego Chargers. So I can see the Dolphins as real contenders. They are gonna be an elite team next year. Especially with all these moves that are being made.

Miami Dolphins, absolutely.

Here's why:

The Raiders will have at least one more bad year before they can get up to winning more than four of their games, and that's only if the teams that were bad last year are still bad. Good luck on that happening. They don't have a veteran quarterback, their wide receivers don't want to play for the team, and all the free agents are giving Oakland a wide berth. No one wants to play there. If JaMarcus Russell goes to Oakland, I don't think he'll be ready right off the bat. It will take at least part of the season to be ready, and probably the whole season. And that, of course, depends on if he has anyone to throw to, and if he has time to throw the ball. I think Russell will be in hell for the next few years.

The Dolphins should be able to win at least six to eight games next year. They have a veteran quarterback in Daunte Culpepper, and if he isn't ready to play, they will probably replace him with Trent Green (or possibly David Carr). Either one is better than who Oakland has at the helm. They have brought a lot of new players to the team, especially on defense, and they already had a good defense. Their couch (Cam Cameron) is a guy who has a lot of football experience, lately with the Chargers, and I think he'll be able to outcoach Kiffen pretty easily.

There really isn't anything that the Raiders have over the Dolphins. I personally think the Dolphins even have an easier schedule.

At any rate, Oakland is doomed for at least one more bad year, and I'm betting on a few years until Al Davis surrenders some of his power. With such a young, inexperienced coach, I don't think he'll be able to be stronger than Davis, and that will destroy the team for another year or four.

That's a tough one. Strength of schedule may favor the Raiders. Chargers will be tough again, but Broncos are starting a rookie QB and Chiefs don't look that tough. Meanwhile, Dolphins have to contend with the Jets and Patriots, both playoff teams and an improving Bills team.

But the Raiders have nobody at QB, however their D is tough and they signed a new RB.

Dolphins have a new coach and QB situation seems undecided.

The Dolphins will, and I'm a Raider fan. Until Oakland finds someone to protect the QB, they have no chance to succeed, especially in that division.

The AFC East is weak enough that you can make progress even if you're not that talented, and the Dolphins aren't that talented.

I'm a Lions fan and I think the only team worse than us is the raiders. sry, but you're simply not that good. you should draft johnson, he's the best player, and get rid of moss. he's not helping your team, you need to rebuilt w/ young talent anyway.

the dolphins were a lil disappointing last yr, but ronnie brown is still due for a breakout yr. Joey sucked for the Lions but I think he might work out there. MIA's got a solid base on D too.

Hopefully you've got some sort of handicap...

The Dolphins without a doubt. Don't you know how Raiders fans teach their kids to count? 0 and 1, 0 and 2, 0 and 3..and so on and so fourth.

in the starting up are the Dolphins any more advantageous perfect? in the adventure that they are, no longer by technique of a lot. keep on inclusive of your crew because ultimately issues will workout consultation. each and every crew has thier united statesand downs. it will make the championship a lot more advantageous significant at the same time as your crew that you've stood by technique of for years ultimately wins all of it. also, the Raiders are on the bottom at present, there is extremely merely one way they could pass, up.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the Dolphins will do better. They may even have a winning record this year. However, the Faiders are in the toughest division in the NFL, and they suck A LOT, so they will not have much chance of doing better this year than last year.

Your kidding right?

Let's see, you have the gerital generation Dolphins were there average age is - what - 87 years old or so and then you have the Raiders with there new QB who unfortunately was badly injured in a swimming accident when someone mistakened him for Shamu the whale.

I say the Detroit Lions take it all this year!
